Rashtriya Military School Admission 2021 (STARTED!)

The Rashtriya Military Schools Admission Department has released the notification about admission notice for admissions to Rashtriya Military School in Class VI & IX for the session 2021-2022. Every year huge amount of students get admissions in these schools.

Rashtriya Military Schools have number of branches all over India. Rashtriya Military Schools were established to take care of education of the sons of Defence Personnel. On 25th June 2007 the schools got their present names “Rashtriya Military School”.

Rashtriya Military School Entrance Exam 2021-2022

As Every Year, RMS Admission Department is going to organize the Common Entrance Test (CET) for the admission in Rashtriya Military School 2021-2022. This CET would be an Automated OMR based test. The Rashtriya Military School will invite the applications in the September month every year. All the interested students and eligible students will be able to apply for the admission very soon. RMS Rashtriya Military School Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria:

• Region – All over India
• Class – VI & IX
• Gender: Only Male Candidates will be allowed for the admission in Rashtriya Military School.

Educational Qualifications

• For Class IX – Student should have qualified in his final examination of class 8^th or students currently studying in the class 8^th only be eligible for the admissions.
• For Class VI – Students who want to get the admission in class 6^th, students should have qualified in the class 5^th or currently studying in the class 5^th will be eligible for the admissions.

Medical Exam

Student should be medically fit as Declared by the Medical Board at the time of admission in Rashtriya Military School.

Age Criteria of Admission at RMS School

• For Class 6^th – Applicants, seeking admission for class 6^th, age should be from 10 – 11 years
• For Class 9^th – Applicants, seeking admission for class 9^th, age should be from 13 – 14 years
• As on 31 March 2021.
• Relaxation in Age: Age relaxation is applicable for the Sons of war Widows/JCOs/OR Killed in Action and maximum 06 months age relaxation is permissible.

Selection Criteria for Admission in RMS Schools

Common Entrance Test: Applicants must to appear for Common Entrance Test on All India basis for class 6th & 9th is to be conducted in month of December every year and later on interview will be conduct by respective RMS School.

How to Apply: Students who want to Apply for Rashtriya Military Schools Admission in Class 6th / 9th, all have to submit the application form in prescribed format through Offline Mode.

Cash/DD: Aspirants cam obtain the Applications and Prospectus from the any of the Rashtriya Military Schools by paying Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST Students, with copy of the Caste Certificate to be submitted by them).

By Post: Candidates can also get the Application From cum Prospectus by post forwarding self addressed slip and Rs.650/- (Rs.350/- SC/ST Students including Rs.50/- Postal Charges). Applicants need to forward the self address for Prospectus and application form along with the DD- Demand Draft for the amount payable at respective Rashtriya Military School (In Favor of “Principal of Rashtriya Military School“). Exam Centres and other details will be given on the application form.

Reservations in Rashtriya Military Schools

• 70% for wards of JCOs/OR of Army, AF (Including the Ex-serviceman) and Navy
• 30%for wards of Officers of Navy, Army and AF Including the Ex-serviceman and wards of Civilians.
• 50 Seats are reserved for the ward of Service personnel killed in Action.
• Note: 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for SC and ST in all categories.
